A long creative dry spell was broken with this, which always makes me happy. Maybe it's a relief of pressure, or stress, or just a longing to say things I don't normally get to say but when a song comes out of me it feels like I'm expressing something that's been buried, and a great sense of relief usually follows. Maybe I'm just worried I bought all those guitars for nothing, I'm not sure, but I'll take it either way.
